Warms Souls offers brighter Christmas for hundreds in need

It was the 13 th year for the event, hosted by Radical Mission Compassionate Ministries, providing boxes of food as well as gifts for children, adults, and families. Because of concerns about COVID-19, this year’s event took place outside in the parking lot between the Dunn Center and Fortera Stadium at Austin Peay State University. Along with the drive-thru service, people could also walk up to receive their food and gifts, and again this year the Clarksville Transit System offered free rides to the event from the downtown transit center. “This year has been incredibly satisfying. A lot of people have been able to be served. We’ve been able to give out a whole lot of food, a lot of presents and it’s been very gratifying that we were able to do it in this weird world we live in,” said Jon Vaughn with Radical Mission.
