Paul “Mason” Cobble, 18, of Georgetown, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on November 22, 2002, to Richard and Ginger Cobble.
Mason was a 2021 graduate of Walker Valley High School.
He loved spending his summers volunteering at the YMCA as a counselor in training. Mason also worked and volunteered at Community Animal Hospital as Mason s aspiration was to become a veterinarian.
He was an avid animal lover, especially when it came to his beloved German Shepherd, “Huck.”
He also enjoyed his favorite hobby of culinary arts.
Mason had such a kind loving spirit and was faithful to his family, friends and God.

Ernest Allen Nethken, 89, of Crossville, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
He was born on July 22, 1931, to the late Norman and Margaret Nethken. He lived in Crossville for the past 22 years, after moving there from Cleveland. When he was in Cleveland, Ernest was a longtime member of Stanfield Baptist Church.
Ernest loved working on cars, listening to bluegrass music, drinking coffee and smoking his pipe. Above all things, he loved his family and spending time with them.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Collins Nethken; son-in-law, Tommy Layman; four brothers; two sisters; and one great-great-granddaughter, VB Rose Ellison.
