MERIDEN â Officials have revised their fiscal 2022 city budget request, citing projected increases in state revenues and some reduced expenses.Â
City Manager Timothy Coon and Finance Director Kevin McNabola discussed the revised figures with the City Councilâs finance committee during a remote meeting Tuesday night. The pair told committee members and Mayor Kevin Scarpati that with the changes in revenue a 1% increase in the cityâs mill rate would be needed to fund the revised budget request of just over $203.3 million.
