A teen was arrested in connection with the armed carjacking of a woman Sunday in Southeast Portland, police say.
The 13-year-old was booked into a juvenile detention center on suspicion of charges including first- and second-degree robbery, according to Portland police. No injuries were reported.
Officers initially responded to the area of 30th Avenue and Bybee Boulevard at 9 p.m., police said. A woman reported two youths carjacked her at gunpoint.
She was able to get out of her car, police said, and the youths drove away.

PORTLAND, Oregon (KPTV) Officers arrested a teenage suspect after a car was stolen at gunpoint in southeast Portland Sunday night, police said.
At 9 p.m., officers responded to a reported armed carjacking in the area of Southeast 30th Avenue and Southeast Bybee Boulevard.
At the scene, the victim told officers that two juvenile suspects carjacked her at gunpoint. She exited her car and the suspects stole it, driving off.
According to police, officers located the stolen car a short time later and a brief pursuit ensued. The occupants of the stolen car then abandoned it, fleeing on foot. Police found one of the suspects in the area of Southeast 33rd Avenue and Southeast Brooklyn Street.

PORTLAND, Ore A 13-year-old child was arrested on robbery charges after a carjacking in Southeast Portland on Sunday night.
The victim told police that two minors carjacked her at gunpoint. She got out of her car and the suspects drove away.
According to police, officers spotted the stolen car a short time later and a brief chase ensued. The suspects got out of the car and ran.
Officers caught and arrested one of the suspects near Southeast Brooklyn Street and 33rd Avenue.
The second suspect escaped.
Police took the 13-year-old suspect to the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Center. The child faces charges including first- and second-degree robbery.
