NEW ORLEANS A stabbing in Tremé left a man dead Wednesday afternoon.
According to the NOPD, officers were called to the 1100 block of Marais Street after a reported stabbing at the address.
Police said they found a man with a stab wound inside of the residence.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are working to find evidence and information to locate a suspect and motive.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred today in the 1100 block of Marais Street, authorities say.
At about 5:30 p.m., NOPD First District officers responded to a call of a stabbing at the location. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim inside of a residence and having sustained a stab wound. The victim was declared deceased at the scene, an NOPD spokesperson confirms.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify those responsible for this incident, as well as a motive. No additional details are available at this time.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Department has arrested a man in connection with a fatal stabbing in Treme on Wednesday, May 5.
Police arrested 37-year-old William E. Reese Jr. Reese who is accused of stabbing a man to death in the 1100 block of Marais Street.
Officers responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m. and found a man inside of a home with a stab wound. The victim, identified as Brennan Graham, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene.
