- small renewal window - Wednesday, Apr 14, 21 @ 7:16 am: One possible issue - right now my FOID expires in August. On their website, there is no option to renew (as the renewal period is limited to 90 days before expiration) However, on the State website, the expiration date merely states “COVID-19″ Does anyone know if they will allow you to apply for renewal and pay the fees once you are in the 90 day window? I submitted my renewal on 1/2/20 and at that time you could not submit a renewal application until you were within the 90 day window. Of course, now over 15 months later, I’m still waiting on that renewal.
