Cancer Relief Gibraltar is marking Dying Matters this week, a Hospice UK-led initiative that helps open up the conversation on death, dying and bereavement.
As part of this awareness campaign, the charity is sharing testimonials from its members of staff and service users on the hospice service it offers. Today’s testimonial is Joe’s story.

Cancer Relief concerned cancer diagnoses impacted by Covid pandemic

Cancer Relief Gibraltar has underscored the impact the Covid-19 pandemic may have had on cancer diagnosis locally, as patients could be delaying visiting their doctors. This comes as the Gibraltar Health Authority has declared a major incident and cancelled all routine surgeries and appointments due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
