Not only did he walk into a home that for him and his wife, Brooke, but he was also welcomed by messages of love and support on its walls and studs written by family and friends before the sheet rock goes up. I m blessed. It s an unusual experience because I ve always been the person to try to help others and now I m on the receiving end, Cormier said.

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. – Nearly every night here in Central Florida a ceremony takes place that very few attend but many from around the country watch via live stream.
We first featured 12-year old Zechariah Cartledge in 2019 when he was running one mile to honor local law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

Since then his nonprofit, Running 4 Heroes, has grown. He’s been able to raise thousands for first responders who have been injured on the job.

HOUSTON Officer Jason Knox, the Houston police officer killed in a 2020 helicopter crash, is being remembered with an HPD chopper dedicated in his honor.
The new helicopter – an H125 Airbus – has Officer Knox’s badge number on it as part of the registration number, N2374F.
Houston leaders, including Mayor Sylvester Turner and the officer s father Councilman Michael Knox, gathered Wednesday for a dedication ceremony.
