Trump Aides Laugh At Rumors He d Be House Speaker By Danielle Ong Donald Trump Says We Will Be Back In Some Form In Final Farewell Speech Several aides working for former President Donald Trump “laughed off the idea that he’ll run for House Speaker in 2022 and replace current Speaker Nancy Pelosi,” a new book revealed.  In a forthcoming book titled “Landslide; The Final Days of the Trump Presidency” by American journalist Michael Wolff, Trump’s aides allegedly dismissed the rumors saying it was a real job that required actual work. For Trump aides, though, this was risible. Speaker of the House is a real job, and Trump, in no way, is going to actually work, Wolff wrote, according to an excerpt obtained by the Times of London on Monday.
