Saint-Gobain UK and Ireland has launched a Green Homes Grant Guide to help homeowners navigate the Government scheme.
Homeowners in England can apply for vouchers worth up to £10,000 to make their homes more energy efficient through the Government’s Green Homes Grant scheme.
The grants will cover green home improvements including insulation of walls, floors, roofs and the installation of double or triple glazing when replacing single glazing and low-carbon heating.

BUCHAREST (Romania), January 12 (SeeNews) - Romanian startup DRUID, specialised in developing intelligent virtual assistants (chatbots) for companies, said on Tuesday it has attracted a $2.5 million (2.05 million euro) Series A investment.
The investment round was led by GapMinder Ventures fund with $2.2 million, while the remainder was invested by Early Game Ventures and private investors, DRUID said in a press release. The new round of financing will be used to launch new conversational automations, to further develop artificial intelligence components, and to accelerate international expansion. DRUID’s ambition is to become the most important conversational AI provider from Europe and to deliver a virtual assistant for every employee, DRUID CEO Liviu Dragan said.

Managing Director of MKD32 Matthew Demmon has become the new president of British Glass after a unanimous vote at the company’s Annual General Meeting.
Taking over from Saint Gobain UK’s Steve Severs, who has been president since 2019, Matthew begun his two-year term at the start of 2021.
Matthew has been a member of the British Glass board of directors since 2016 and has served as Managing Director at glass merchant and consultancy firm MKD32 since its foundation in 2012.
