An online poll run by French Mountains to determine what skiers considered the âBest Piste in Franceâ has resulted in Jerusalem, a blue run which starts above Les Menuires in the 3 Valleys, being the most popular.
Jerusalem, descends from the top of the St Martin Express chairlift and twists and turns its way down to Saint Martin de Belleville, over a 440m vertical drop.
In the vote the run came up against competition from Tetras in La Rosiere, the Casse de Boeuf in Serre Chevalier and La Sache in Tignes before it took top spot.
âIt has everything: narrow and wide sections, rollers, an amazing location and unless youâre unlucky you can be on it on your own,” said one of Jerusalemâs fans, Tony. Another, Ian, commented, “Itâs like two totally different runs first thing in the morning itâs groomed and pretty fast and then in the afternoon itâs a different challenge.”
