by Tyler Durden Friday, Apr 09, 2021 - 09:24 AM Update (1113 ET): Just before 09:00 on Friday (13:00 GMT), the University of the West Indies confirmed that an explosive eruption was underway at La Soufrière volcano on the Caribbean island of St Vincent.  At 8:41 am this morning 9-4-21 an explosive eruption began at La Soufrière volcano in St. Vincent. This is a culmination of the seismic activity that began on April 8.
