EAST LYME, Conn. An untimely death closed Rocky Neck State Park early on Saturday, and as of 9 p.m., investigators are still on scene.
State Police in Montville say they were called to the park at 5:43 p.m. for an untimely death of an adult male at the park in East Lyme. The Department of Energy & Environmental Protection says the investigation, which includes DEEP EnCon Police, State Police Major Crimes Unit, and East Lyme Police and EMS, is in the area of West Beach.

SIMSBURY, CT A bear may have entered a Simsbury home around 4 p.m. Saturday, according to FOX 61. The state Department of Energy & Environmental Protection said that Environmental and Conservation Police responded to the report regarding a bear entering a home.
The Woodchuck Hill Road home is being remodeled and the owners were in the area and made the report. A responding state officer saw the bear in the woods outside the home, FOX 61 reported.
The bear was hazed in order for it to leave the area. Hazing a bear can involve using loud noises, non-injurious projectiles, and other methods of scaring the animals.
