The Indian Army has undergone a major reshuffle at the top within the Army Headquarter and at the various other formations including the Corps Commanders, administrative and training institutions witnessing a change of guard.
Lt Gen Shantanu Dayal will soon take charge as the new DCOAS. Lt Gen Dayal is currently the Corps Commander of the Tejpur based 4 Corps. Once a new Corps Commander is appointed, Lt Gen Datal will take place of Lt Gen SS Hasabnis who superannuated on December 31.

The gubernatorial transition team for Governor-elect Greg Gianforte on Thursday released the roster of his staff members and their salaries.
Gianforte, Montanaâs current member of the U.S. House of Represenatives and a former high-tech entrepreneur from Bozeman, won election November 3, defeating Democratic Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney. His victory made Montana the only state in the nation that saw a change of party control in the governorâs office in November.
He will be sworn in at the Montana State Capitol on Monday, January 4 at 9 a.m. His running mate Kristen Juras will be sworn in as the lieutenant governor.

The meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence, held on 16 December 2020, was mired in controversy over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi walking out with two other party colleagues after saying he was not allowed to speak on the âserious national securityâ situation in eastern Ladakh despite giving notice in advance.
In his letter to Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla the following day, Gandhi wrote: âYou are aware that we are currently facing a serious national security challenge on our borders and that China has forcibly occupied our territory and martyred 20 of our soldiers. There are many critical matters to discuss at a time like this. I was therefore extremely disturbed to find
