Context: Background information The International Partnerships Division (IPD) is a unit within the IOM Department of International Cooperation and Partnerships (ICP). IPD is the institutional focal point for the Organization’s relations with inter-State consultation mechanisms on migration (ISCMs), non-UN inter-governmental organizations (non-UN IGOs), civil society, and IOM observer organizations. Thematically IPD has been providing guidance and expertise on (inter-)regional and global migration dialogues, mixed migration flows and migration scenario building.
