With their current show at Savannah State University’s Kennedy Fine Arts Center Gallery, the latest in their continued exhibition partnership and which features works by 20 of their 83 members, it’s safe to proclaim mission accomplished.
“A couple years ago, (Nicholas Silberg, Department Chairperson of Fine Arts, Humanities and Wellness) invited FAAA to exhibit annually in conjunction with Black History Month,” said Calvin Woodum, who not only has work in the show, but also helped coordinate the project with SSU.

An exhibition on the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) will be held at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi from January 18-24 to mark the CPV’s 91st founding anniversary (February 3, 1930 - 2021) and welcome the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.

The “Dang ta that la vi dai!” (Great is our Party!) exhibition aims to highlight the CPV’s leadership during the country’s struggle for independence, “Doi Moi” (renewal) process, and nation building, and the Vietnamese people’s achievements in constructing and safeguarding a socialist Vietnam.
It features multiple sections, including one displaying photos and documents on the CPV’s history.

SC/ST reservation at DU: Candidates falling under the scheduled caste (SC) or schedule tribes (ST) categories have a total 22.5 per cent reserved seats for them in Delhi University colleges. Of these, 15 per cent seats are reserved for SCs and 7.5 per cent for STs.
OBC reservation at DU: Candidates under the other backward classes (OBC) category get 27 per cent reserved seats, and a 10 per cent relaxation on marks.
PwD: There is also a reservation of 3 per cent seats for students with 40 per cent disability.

ATHENS â Concord University honored the Fall 2020 graduating class during a virtual commencement on Dec. 12. This format was utilized due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The event marked the 22nd Fall Commencement for Concord.
âWhile weâre unable to celebrate your graduation in our typical way, your accomplishments have not been diminished in any way,â President Kendra Boggess said in her welcoming remarks.
âYouâve accomplished this milestone under extremely challenging circumstances, and I am proud of every one of you. Today is a time to celebrate all that youâve done and all you will continue to do as you become Concord University alumni,â she said.
