PUYALLUP, WA County leaders are recognizing the Pierce County Library System for 75 years of amazing service.
At the Pierce County Council s meeting Tuesday afternoon, council members and Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier took a moment to officially recognize the library system s anniversary with a resolution celebrating its many decades supporting Pierce County readers.
That resolution, Resolution No. R2021-84, passed unanimously. It reads, in part:

PIERCE COUNTY – The Pierce County Library System will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 25, for Christmas. During that time, the Library’s online services, as always, will be open at www.piercecountylibrary.org, featuring downloadable e-books, audiobooks and magazines as well as other services and resources.
