Headline Trainees of EU-funded project on civil-military cooperation honoured The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Jordan and Expertise France on Wednesday held an award ceremony within the framework of the project “Reinforcing Jordan’s Capabilities at the Eastern Borders”, according to an EU statement.   Funded by the EU for a total amount of six million euros, this project aims to improve the coordination and sustainability of civil-military operations in the eastern border of Jordan, with the provision of a multi-agency logistical hub in Ruwaished, a town in the Mafraq Governorate, as well as capacity building activities.   The ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), was attended by Brigadier General Bassam Al Faleh, EU Ambassador to Jordan Maria Hadjitheodosiou and French Ambassador to Jordan Véronique Vouland.
