Old Town Pizza Is Purchasing Southeast Portland Pizzeria Baby Doll The Southeast Stark Street shop known for its New York-style pizzas, sold whole and by the slice, will keep its branding. Baby Doll Pizza Two Slices $7 Updated February 17 Adam Milne has purchased another pizzeria: Baby Doll. He officially took over the business approximately two weeks ago and submitted an application with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission on Feb. 10. The Southeast Stark Street shop known for its New York-style pizzas, sold whole and by the slice, will keep its branding. Milne also doesn t plan to mess around with the toppings or dough there, either.

Work crews on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, clean up damage and board up windows in Northeast Portland s Hollywood District after protesters the previous night damaged and vandalized 27 businesses and workspaces, police said.

Hanh Truong arrived at Fujiyama Sushi Bar & Grill early Jan. 28 to find the floor of the restaurant covered with broken glass.
Security footage showed someone driving up to the Southeast 82nd Avenue sushi bar before hurling a rock through the window. The same person threw another rock through the window of the nail salon next door before driving away, said Truong, the store manager at Fujiyama.
Pedestrian killed in East Portland hit-and-run crash

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in East Portland Saturday night.
Officers responded to a report of a person struck by a car near Southeast Stark Street and 136th Avenue at 6:52 p.m. Saturday. The pedestrian, identified on Monday as 60-year-old Karen McClure, of Portland, died at the scene.
The Portland Police said that the vehicle was no longer at the scene when officers arrived and no suspect description is currently available.
Police asked anyone with information about what happened to call 503-823-3333, or to call 911 with any time sensitive information about the location of the suspect.
A pedestrian is dead following a hit-and-run in the Hazelwood neighborhood Saturday night, Feb. 6.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
According to police, officers reported to the scene near Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 136th Avenue around 6:52 p.m. on Feb. 6 and found the deceased pedestrian with the suspect vehicle nowhere in sight.
The Portland Police Bureau s Major Crash Team responded to conduct the investigation. Anyone with more information is asked to call 503-823-3333, or 911 if it s time-sensitive information about the location of the suspect. The case number is 21-34282.

Alleged hit-and-run driver faces 31-count indictment, accused of killing 1, injuring 7 others in SE Portland rampage

A Multnomah County grand jury returned a 31-count indictment Wednesday against a man accused of striking and killing one woman and injuring seven other people in a wild, 15-block rampage in his Honda Element last week in Southeast Portland.
The indictment charges Paul Rivas with second-degree murder and failure to perform the duties of a driver in the killing of Jean Gerich, 77, a pedestrian who was hit twice and then dragged for a block.
She died about three hours later from blunt force trauma at OHSU Hospital, according to her son and daughter.
