The victim has been identified as Joshua Gray Stanley, 34, of Portland. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. There were no citations or charges. Police blamed poor visibility for the crash. The investigation determined that the car, a 2015 Toyota Corolla, driven by an adult female, was proceeding southbound McLoughlin Boulevard when the pedestrian, an adult male, was likely crossing to the west side of the road when he was struck, the Portland Police Bureau said in a statement Saturday. The location was not a crosswalk and not well lit. The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing.
