Maharashtra Tourism to launch Events Board soon

Share On the events industry front, Maharashtra Tourism is forming an Events Board, talks for which have been on since early 2020. “We wanted to build the hospitality industry as a core industry for the state. The minister said he is committed to sweeping policy changes for the event industry similar to what has been done for the hospitality industry. This would include revamp of the licensing to ensure ease of doing business and an Event Board to facilitate incentives for events and MICE as well as to attract global events to Maharashtra.

IRCTC to start âDivine Maharashtraâ tourist train from Jan 8 The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is all set to start the Divine Maharashtra tourist train operations from January 8 to cover the prominent religious and heritage tourist destinations in central India. Siddharth Singh, Spokesperson, IRCTC, in a statement said, IRCTC, a Railway Ministry PSU, will start the state of art AC Deluxe Tourist Train Divine Maharashtra tour from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on January 8.
