Residents of Pratten and the surrounding area are being urged to have their say on a suite of upgrades headed for the small and tight knit Southern Downs community.
The Urban Design Framework developed by Southern Downs Regional Council and town planners Ethos Urban has reached its final design phases, and is now set to be reviewed by the Pratten community at a public workshop on Tuesday.
â(These were) reinforcing local identity, township improvements and upgrades, and fostering a cohesive and active community,â the spokeswoman said.
Southern Downs Mayor Vic Pennisi encouraged all Pratten residents to have their say and contribute to the future of their proud village.

Tourists and residents alike could soon be booking a stay at a proposed new accommodation site in a secluded spot on the Southern Downs.
The development application for a three-cabin site at 1 Bellingham Rd, Elbow Valley was lodged with by Zone Planning Group on behalf of landowners Tahnee Gul and Charles Longey on Tuesday.
The 0.825 ha property is located about halfway between larger towns such as Warwick and Killarney and bordered by other rural allotments.
The application stated the three single-storey cabins would be equipped with a rainwater tank for potable water and an onsite waste management system, with each building to be completed in individual stages.

It’s almost crunch time on some government-funded Warwick developments, with pressure on to both start and finish projects by the end of the financial year.
Several builds were approved by the State Government under the 2020-21 COVID Works for Queensland program, all of which are required to be completed by June 30 this year.
These included the new fitness rooms at WIRAC worth $435,000, improvements to the Warwick pound totalling $100,000, and another $350,000 for septic receival unit construction.
A massive $1.725 million investment in the Stanthorpe dump and another $420,000 for Storm King Dam remediation works were also included in the funding package.
