EDMOND, Okla. -
Firefighters responded to a large house fire Saturday afternoon near East 33rd Street and South Bryant Avenue in Edmond. I turned around and saw black, boiling smoke, neighbor Chris Gee said. I knew it was a house fire and not just somebody burning in the backyard.
When he realized what was happening, Gee said he quickly rushed over to help. Opened the door, went right in the front and the back wall where the living room is was just fully engulfed, Gee said. I mean, there were flames going up the back of the wall and up the ceiling.
