House fire in Fermanagh hospitalises one man | Impartial Reporter

FIREFIGHTERS rescued one man from a house fire in Newtownbutler in the early hours of yesterday morning, Wednesday, April 28. The PSNI are conducting enquiries into the cause of the fire. The alert was raised with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) at 3.56am on Wednesday morning. Three fire appliances attended the incident; two from Lisnaskea Fire Station, and one from Enniskillen Fire Station A NIFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters were called to a bungalow on fire in Camphill Park, Newtownbutler in the early hours. One casualty was rescued by firefighters, and passed into the care of Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS).

Only Mid Ulster and Derry City and Strabane have a higher rate.
