A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: “Dorset Police received a report at 2.21pm on Friday, July 9, of a collision involving a car and an ambulance on Commercial Road in Poole. “It was reported that the ambulance was on its side. “The road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. “The local authority was requested to clear fluid in the road.” The eastbound lane towards Bournemouth was closed and officers diverted traffic while the ambulance and the car were both recovered.
