Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president and Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy started a free meal service at the Gandhi Hospital where 1,000 people would be served free meal daily including doctors, nurses, patients and their dependents.
The Gandhi Hospital, the lifeline of Telangana is now converted into an exclusive COVID-19 hospital by the government and patients from across the State with virus severity are admitted here.
Mr. Reddy said the free meal service was started on a call given by the Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to its cadre to reach out to the people affected with the virus in whatever way they can. Meals would be provided by Mr. Reddy’s pocket and will continue till lockdown is lifted in the State.

TPCC chief questions government’s hesitancy in bringing corona treatment under Aarogyasri scheme
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president and Nalgona MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy launched the Rahul Gandhi Cares programme along with Telangana Youth Congress president Sivasena Reddy under which Youth Congress would take up relief works for Covid patients in the State.
These relief works include donating plasma for patients, setting up help centres to guide people on corona treatment, assist in getting medical advice for those affected with the virus and arranging oxygen and beds for those in definite need of the facility.

Revanth Reddy has alleged that the government appointed committee on encroachment of Endowment lands of Seetha Ramaswamy temple in Devarayamjal has not visited the lands owned by Ministers K.T. Rama Rao and Ch. Malla Reddy, and demanded the only a CBI enquiry can bring out total truth behind the encroachment.
