Stocks inched higher on Tuesday with Fesco leading volumes on the day.
Fesco shareholders traded 3.69 million units which accounted for one-third of the day’s trading volume, on the entire market.

Portland JSX led double-digit gains during Tuesday’s trading on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Portland gained 37 per cent to close at $9.75. It was followed by 138 Student Living, up 21 per cent to $5.30 and Consolidated Bakeries up 17 per cent to $1.65.
Salada Foods tumbled 12 per cent to $7.73 as investors continued to pull down the stock that closed last week at $10 or over 250 per cent higher since January.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,143.23 points (0.50 per cent) to close at 428,063.01. The JSE Main Index advanced by 1,725.03 points (0.41 per cent) to close at 426,387.55. The Junior Market Index advanced by 53.41 points (1.64 per cent) to close at 3,317.87.
