The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) has managed to process 100% of the electoral records linked to votes for presidential and vice-presidential candidates following the 2021 general elections held on April 11. The processing of the 86,488 records was possible thanks to the installation of 104 computer centers nationwide a number higher than the 94 Decentralized Electoral Process Offices (ODPE) at which work was carried out in an uninterrupted and strictly professional manner, the organization indicated. Absolute transparency for the processing and counting of the minutes allowed representatives of the attending political organizations to witness this activity, given that at each of the 104 computer centers special spaces were set up for work purposes.
