Since 1992, Cindy Rowe has been chair of the Brookline Democratic Town Committee. She s also executive director of the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action, an organization she s been part of since 2001. When Donald Trump was first elected and we started to understand the threat he posed to our democracy, I was offered the job as executive director of JALSA, she said. I could think of no better place to be to bring my Jewish and progressive values together, and fight back against the increasingly racist and bigoted policies of the Trump Administration.
