The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) is Australia s independent expert regulator for health and safety, structural and well integrity, and environmental management for offshore petroleum facilities and activities in Commonwealth waters. Working with NOPSEMA provides an opportunity to make a real difference to people working in Australia’s offshore energy industry and the environment. An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Advisor, Legislative Change to join our team in the Office of the Chief Executive at our Perth Office. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, the role will provide advice and guidance on policy, regulatory, and legislative matters to support the work and regulatory outcomes of NOPSEMA. The position will facilitate engagement, liaison, and negotiation in support of regulatory priorities, legislative reform, and legislative change.
