The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) in partnership with the National Information Technology Authority Uganda (NITA-U), National Computer Emergency Response Team of Uganda (CERT.UG), Internet Society Uganda Chapter, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs with support from Facebook and MTN, today launched a new campaign; ‘Help Children Be Children’ which seeks to end online child sexual abuse.

Help Children Be Children launched today February 1, is imploring and urging Ugandans to make the internet a safer place free of online child sexual abuse material.
Help Children Be Children by the
Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) calls on the general public to report any child sexual abuse content they stumble across online to a designated reporting portal at www.stopit.ug.
The campaign is being supported by Facebook and telecommunications giant MTN Uganda. IWF is a UK-based international charity organisation responsible for finding and removing images and videos of child sexual abuse from the internet.
