Owes much to St Paul School | News, Sports, Jobs

To the editor: As National Catholic Schools Week occurs, I’m again compelled to write. A proud Class of 1962 graduate of St. Paul School, I remain a faithful alum. I owe much to SPS and want to recognize that. As a retired public-school educator, I know an indication of a particular school’s worth can be observed from the accomplishments of its students, like the following: education beyond graduation, including degrees from our finest universities; leadership positions in chosen fields; distinctions in music and the arts; superior performance in extracurriculars; and clear evidence of good moral character. Therefore, I congratulate St. Paul Pastor Father Bob Edwards, SPS Principal Dave Pancurak, the school’s devoted teachers, and supportive staff for “Educating the Mind, Body, and Spirit” of their students.
