As President-elect Joe Biden gave his final remarks in Delaware on January 19 before heading off to Washington, DC for his inauguration on January 20, the future commander-in-chief delivered an emotional speech to a small gathering thanking friends and family for all their support over the years. Beside him, his wife Jill Biden also appeared teary-eyed as she watched her husband s remarks, but didn t fail to make a statement with her purple ensemble.

If you haven t heard, Joe Biden would like to unite America.
It was a focus of the Democrat s campaign. It s even the theme of Biden s inauguration America United. We can join forces, stop the shouting and lower the temperature. For without unity there is no peace, only bitterness and fury. No progress, only exhausting outrage. No nation, only a state of chaos. This is our historic moment of crisis and challenge, and unity is the path forward.
