(Monday, May 3; Sioux Center, Iowa) The NAIA Women’s National Volleyball Championship concluded Saturday, May 1 and Dordt had two players recognized for their performances at the NAIA National Championship.
Allison Timmermans (Senior; Orange City, Iowa) was named to the all-tournament team after averaging 3.05 kills per set with a .365 kill efficiency in five matches while helping the Defenders to the semifinal round of the NAIA National Championship.

In a season that dates back to September 5th, 2020 a pair of former Eagles volleyball standouts and sisters are back in the final eight of the NAIA National Volleyball Championship, delayed to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Northwestern College, currently ranked 5th, has advanced to the quarterfinals with wins over No. 21 Oklahoma City (five sets) and No. 13 Corban (3-0), led by A.J. Kacmarynski (Horstman) and Bekah Horstman. The pair made a similar push into the NAIA round of eight in the 2019 season that ended in the quarterfinals.
En route to this spot, the Red Raiders knocked off Trinity Christian and former Eagles Mady Zula and Emma Huisman in the process on April 17th.

Lady Knights volleyball team ends season at Nationals

North Platte Community College volleyball team opened the second day of the NJCAA DII National Volleyball Championship with a sweep of Carl Sandburg College before losing to Terra State Community College in five sets to end their season.
The Lady Knights finish the season with a record of 16-16.
The Knights battled back and forth with the Chargers of Carl Sandburg in the early stages of the first set. Leading 5-4, Katy Bartell and Peyton Negley stretched the Knights lead to three on an ace serve and a kill off the high hands of the Chargers block.

The Volleyball Federation of Vietnam and Bamboo Airways signed the sponsorship agreement on March 31, followed by an event at the latter s headquarters in Hanoi to introduce the Gold Sponsor of the National Volleyball Championship 2021.
The event was attended by Le Van Thanh and Le Tri Truong, the chairman and general secretary of the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam (VFV), along with other VFV leaders.
From the side of Bamboo Airways, attendants included Trinh Van Quyet, chairman of FLC Group and Bamboo Airways, Dang Tat Thang, deputy general director of FLC Group cum CEO of Bamboo Airways, as well as leaders of divisions and departments.
