ALBANY, N.Y. â The Gift Planning Group of Northeastern New York has formally changed its name to Charitable Gift Planning Northeastern New York as the non-profit member organization rebrands for the future.
The name change and rebrand is a result of strategic changes within the national organization, the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, and the desire for the local council to be more aligned with national.
These changes are the result of nearly two years of member research, environmental analysis and program development, a press release said, noting that the name change was approved by the council members representing the charitable gift planning community.
