Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to Pakistan president

MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador Andrei Metelitsa presented credentials to Pakistan President Arif Alvi, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
During the meeting after the ceremony, the parties discussed the political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation between the countries. “The parties stressed the need to strengthen cooperation in areas important for Belarus and Pakistan such as industry, agriculture and pharmaceuticals. Despite the pandemic-related restrictions, the countries still held joint events in science, technology, health and pharmaceuticals in 2020, the embassy said.
