It is a day to show appreciation to law enforcement officers, and recognition for the difficult and sometimes impossible career they have chosen. With the added stress of COVID-19 this year, our officers have risen to the challenge, adding equipment and measures to keep themselves and the public healthy and safe. To show your support for our deputies, you can: Wear blue clothing in support of law enforcement. Send a card of support to your local agencies. Give blood in the national Blue Blood Drive. Shine blue lights from your home. Take treats or lunch to a local department. If you see a police officer, deputy or trooper, thank them! Each day they serve to protect citizens and it’s time to say thank you!
