As Sri Lanka is facing a spike in COVID-19 positive cases the medical burden faced by the Government of the country has worsened. Upfield Lanka (Pvt.) COLOMBO (News 1st); Gampaha recorded a total of 551 COVID-19 cases on Monday (10), said the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
The Colombo District saw a drop in the daily number of COVID-19 cases being reports, however, it was still at a high of 321 cases.
362 COVID-19 infections were also reported from the Kalutara District, said the NOCPCO.
