Amid the second wave of the novel coronavirus, apart from CBSE, many other state board exams, several competitive exams across the country have also gotten postponed.
CBSE class 12 students are demanding cancellation of their exams, however, the board is yet to come up with any resolution to the demand. A final decision on the matter will be taken after June 1.

The Union Cabinet on Friday approved setting up of National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct entrance examinations for higher educational institutions, an official release said.
The NTA would initially conduct entrance tests that are currently organised by the CBSE, while other examinations will be taken up gradually, it added.
The ARS exam is held for the selection of Scientists.
STO examination will be held for selection to Senior Technical Officer post at ICAR headquarters and its research institutes.
Candidates with Master s degree are eligible for all the exams. The online examination will be conducted in the designated Centres/cities at single or multiple venues. The questions of the Examination will be available in bilingual form i.e. in Hindi and English medium. The applicants will have to indicate their medium of Examination in the online application form itself, the Board has said.
Promoted In case of any discrepancy between English and Hindi versions of the Notification/ advertisement / information, the English version as available on the Website of the Board will be treated as final, it has added.

According to an order by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the revised dates for the exam will be announced later, at least 15 days before the examination.
