Event Time 12:30pm Venue Online The Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture in the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland are holding a series of virtual information events. This virtual event will focus on the Level 7 BSc in Horticulture which is run jointly between the Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture and Waterford institute of Technology(WIT). The level 7 course is a three year degree course which combines the earth sciences with practical and commercial horticulture along with the business of horticulture. It covers 6 semesters across the three years which also includes work experience that may be done here in Ireland or abroad.

Botanic Gardens College of Horticulture Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture The College of Amenity Horticulture is located at the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland,  Dublin.  Having our college located in the National Botanic Gardens provides students with a unique training opportunity. There is a strong tradition of training at the National Botanic Gardens dating back to 1812. Our aim is to train students for employment in the amenity horticulture industry. We provide our training in association with OPW, Dublin Municipal Parks departments and a large selection of Horticultural Businesses.  Currently we are providing training for 300 students between all our courses. There is a balance of both school leavers and mature participants among the students. The College of Amenity Horticulture is non-residential with students finding accommodation in the locality.
