The police on Friday said that a student of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kangra, was arrested for allegedly hacking the college website and tampering with mark sheets.
The student, a native of Muzzafarpur in Bihar, was arrested on charges of cheating, criminal conspiracy and different sections of the IT Act, said Surinder Kumar, the deputy superintendent of police, Kangra.

Gandhinagar, Jan 18 : While carrying out the the virtual ground breaking ceremonies of the the Surat Metro project and the second phase of Ahmedabad Metro project, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that due to lack of modern vision and any metro policy in previous governments, works of only 225 kilometre Metro network were operational, while the present government s modern vision had helped complete more than 450 km of Metro line and work was in progress in more than 1000 km in 27 cities.

Swapnil Shinde
New Delhi–Fashion designer Swapnil Shinde has announced she is a transwoman and changed her name to Saisha.
Shinde, who has worked with Bollywood stars like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and Kiara Advani, on Tuesday took to Instagram to make the announcement.
She has also shared pictures of herself post the transformation.
Shinde wrote: “Irrespective of your origin, there will always be something that reminds you of your childhood. For me, it takes me back to the kind of loneliness that aches, to pressures that pushed me into solitude and the chaos of confusion that grew every moment. All through school and college, while the boys outside tormented me because I was different, the internal pain was far worse.”
