New Delhi [India], June 25 (ANI): The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) is organising an online event on Friday to commemorate 6 years of the launch of three transformative Urban Missions namely Smart Cities Mission (SCM), AMRUT and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U), which were launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 25, 2015.
Master Plan for Delhi prepared by Delhi Development Authority is a statutory document that facilitates Delhis development by assessing the present condition and guiding how to achieve the desired development.
NIUA New Delhi Intern - Research Assistantship
National Institute of Urban Affairs, New Delhi, invites applications for a research project: “Citizen-Centric Smart Governance (CCSG) - CDG - Living Lab”.
Eligibility: Open to candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, Economics, Development Studies, or other closely related fields. They should be a fresher/ recent graduate with 0-2 years of work experience and preferably provide a dossier of relevant work experience by way of URLs, and so on.

Roorkee: National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, and support from Ministry of Housing and Urban affairs have successfully conducted public consultation meetings for revisions in guidelines and standards areas of universal accessibility in built environment in India. The consultation meetings were in the backdrop of ‘Building Accessible Safe Inclusive Indian Cities’ (BASIIC) program (supported by FCDO, UK government).
