Berjaya Cares Foundation donates van to NCSM 19 Jul 2021 / 10:50 H. PETALING JAYA : Berjaya Cares Foundation has donated a medical mobile screening van to the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to enhance its vaccination, screening and community outreach programmes. The van will be utilised by the team at NCSM for its house-to-house Covid-19 vaccination programme for the severely ill, bed-bound patients, the specially-abled, as well as those with cancer and other chronic diseases, who are unable to travel to public vaccination centres. NCSM teams will be deployed in a systematic, structured manner in identified locations in towns and districts throughout Peninsular Malaysia, and will work with local authorities and non-governmental organisations.

Bernama KUALA LUMPUR: House-to-house vaccination for bedridden patients living in the Klang Valley will be carried out by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) with other non-governmental organisations under the mobile clinic initiative of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. Its adviser Tan Sri Dr Jemilah Mahmood said MRCS had mobilised its team to 111 of the 280 houses identified so far to protect vulnerable individuals who have difficulty making the trip to the vaccination centres to get their jabs.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 ― The National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) and several other non-profit organisations have begun assisting the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) house-to-house vaccination programme. The vaccine outreach programme which started yesterday, is in collaboration with Pertubuhan Malaysian Women’s Action for Tobacco Control and Health (MYWATCH), Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and myNadi Foundation.
