Fit and healthy young people must not become complacent over COVID-19, according to the deputy director of the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Vietnam recorded 58 new cases of COVID-19 over the past six hours to 6 p.m on May 21, including one imported case who had been quarantined upon their arrival, the Ministry of Health said.

An 81-year-old Covid patient has died in Hanoi, becoming Vietnam s 39th coronavirus death and fourth in the ongoing outbreak.
His cause of death was determined to be Covid-19, septic shock, blood sepsis, cirrhosis and diabetes, among others, the Health Ministry said Thursday afternoon.
The man was admitted to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases for blood sepsis on May 3. He tested positive for the coronavirus on May 11, and was sent to the ICU to be put on ventilators and ECMO.
