PM: Govt always attentive towards university students needs

PETALING JAYA: The government is attentive towards all matters raised by university students in an effort to empower them, says Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. He said initiatives by the Higher Education Ministry such as: one-off payments of RM50 to 76,153 students in the 2020/21 academic session, which involved an allocation of RM3.8mil; data plan for 320,396 low-income (B40) students involving an allocation of RM24mil; and providing gadgets to 8,965 B40 students involving an allocation of RM13mil are examples of the government’s care. “These initiatives are a manifestation that the government is always concerned with matters raised by students.
