Meal delivery to Jackson hospital lets frontline workers know they re not forgotten

Meal delivery to Jackson hospital lets frontline workers know they’re not forgotten Updated Dec 16, 2020; Facebook Share JACKSON, MI Approximately 120 meals were delivered to frontline health care workers at Jackson’s Henry Ford Allegiance Health on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The meals were made possible by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 252 and the National Electrical Contractors Association in Jackson and Washtenaw counties. Jason Kreger of the Michigan Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association was at the hospital with other members to help unload the first batch of lunches. “We noticed that these guys got a ton of attention back in the spring and summer time and also noticed that in the last few months, a lot of people’s attention has gone elsewhere,” Kreger said. “These guys are really working hard everyday to make sure our community is cared for. We wanted to show a little attention back to them.”
