NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) Threatening storms will push through Middle Tennessee Wednesday and continue into Thursday morning.
Rain will move in from the south during the day on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service Office in Nashville says the mid-state could see damaging straight line winds, large hail, some chance of flash flooding, and tornadoes are possible.
The most dangerous period will be Wednesday evening through 3 a.m. Friday morning.
Nighttime storms can be especially dangerous. It was an overnight storm that killed 25 Tennesseans one year ago this month.
