It s about to boil.  The Willamette Valley is poised to break some hot weather records this weekend, with Salem expected to surpass a daily temperature record Sunday, according to Treena Jensen, a warning coordination meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Portland.  Highs are predicted to soar to 104 degrees Saturday and 108 degrees Sunday, potentially making it the first time Salem s had back-to-back days greater than 100 degrees in June. The highest temperature recorded in June in Salem is 105 degrees, set on June 22, 1992. And the longest streak of days above 100 degrees in the city is four days  occurring in 1941, 1977, 1981, 1994  but all of those happened in either July or August.
