Winter Storm Warnings and Snow Continue for Twin Tiers

Expect snowy weather to continue in the Twin Tiers through February 3 while the National Weather Service’s Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through February 2.
NOAA says heavy snow is still expected for several hours compounded by blowing and drifting.

For Tioga, Broome, Delaware and Chenango counties the Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. but is due to expire in Cortland County at 5 p.m. The warning for Northeast Pennsylvania is to expire at 1 p.m.
Accumulations for Broome, Tioga and Delaware County is put at 10 to 16 inches with locally higher amounts while snowfall totals for Cortland County are estimated at 8 to 12 inches. For Northeast Pennsylvania, the higher elevations may punch in at over two feet of snow.
