Residents can expect “fairly wet and unsettled” weather through the weekend and into next week, with a high-surf advisory from Saturday through Tuesday. Showers are expected to let up by mid-late morning Friday before returning in the afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service Guam Weather Forecast Office. “Through this weekend and early next week, showers are expected to be largely episodic in nature, quickly approaching, bringing gusty winds and moderate to heavy rainfall,” the Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense stated. A flash flood watch expired this morning because heavy showers were no longer expected.
